NYIKO ("nee-koh")

is a Los Angeles–based singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist whose music blends synth-pop, indie pop, new wave, and post-punk into emotionally charged songs that feel both immediate and cinematic. Drawing from a lifelong musical background that spans hip hop, piano-driven songwriting, emo and hardcore bands, and electronic production, his work balances sharp pop instincts with emotional complexity, vulnerability, and atmosphere.

His music explores themes like desire, identity, mental health, self-worth, and modern relationships — pairing infectious hooks with darker emotional undercurrents and a distinctly human perspective.

With coverage from MTV News, EARMILK, LADYGUNN, METAL, Galore, Popdust, KCRW, Atwood, Under The Radar, Post-Punk Online, and more, NYIKO’s music has appeared in Hulu’s Love, Victor, Peacock’s Apples Never Fall, the Saints Row franchise, and the feature film Chestnut.

NYIKO has performed alongside artists including Beach Fossils, Alvvays, Vacationer, Pure Bathing Culture, and more.
